The Roane Choral Society:

The Roane Choral Society is a non-profit organization governed by a Board of directors elected from both the chorus and the local community.  Funding for our season comes from individual and corporate contributions.  The Board and choral members work diligently to raise these funds in a continuing effort to bring our community the very best in musical performances.  We hope you will consider joining the supporters of Roane Choral Society.  Given the drastic reduction in monies from the National Endowment for the Arts and The Tennessee Arts Commission, we are increasingly dependent on contributions and ticket sales to enable us to continue our musical offerings to Roane County and the surrounding area.

In addition to presenting concerts, the Roane Choral Society supports music education in the local schools both financially and providing opportunities for local grade schools, middle schools and high schools to participate in community concerts.  Your support for these activities through the Roane Choral Society is greatly appreciated.

The singers of Roane Choral Society are volunteers who meet two hours for rehearsals on Monday evenings.  We invite you to attend and sing with us.  No prior choral experience is required. No time in your busy schedule?  You will be surprised at how invigorating two hours of musical rehearsal can be!  Please call Jerri Zurcher at 376-6710 for more information.

"Gloria" - Selection appropriate for the seasons.  "Gloria" by John Rutter plus several others.  Get into the mood of the upcoming season - Thanksgiving and Christmas - by attending this concert.

This concert is always a favorite!  This promises to be an inspiring evening.  Be sure to arrive early to get a good seat.  Let's celebrate our life as a free people in the USA.   Come hear the Roane Choral Society whoop it up!

April  Love? Yes, we've moved the "Music for Lovers" concert to April and are looking forward to the sunny days to follow.  This concert has always been a favorate with the singers magically transformed to waiters and waitresses for a great pastry break.

Don't wait too long to make your reservations.  There is only one night planned (not two as in the past) and it may be sold out early.
